Scion of Tabitha was created by Juliet (Letti) Awolumate to honor the philanthropic spirit of her mother, Dorcas (Tabitha) Awolumate, and continue her legacy of elevating women. Inspired by her mother’s unwavering dedication to supporting young women and widows in Nigeria, Juliet founded this organization to carry forward that mission of empowerment.

Scion of Tabitha is committed to providing education, business opportunities, and healthcare resources to uplift young girls and women, ensuring they have the tools to shape their futures and create lasting generational change.

Rooted in the belief that when women thrive, communities flourish, Scion of Tabitha focuses on three core pillars: Education, Women’s Health, and Business Empowerment. Through mentorship, scholarships, grants, and advocacy, we work to break barriers and provide life-changing opportunities. From equipping young girls with the knowledge to succeed, to supporting widows in achieving financial independence, to promoting women’s health through Scion’s Hope, we are dedicated to building a future where women can lead, grow, and inspire.

By continuing her mother’s legacy, Juliet envisions a Nigeria where every girl has access to quality education, every widow has the means to sustain herself and her family, and every woman has the healthcare resources she needs to live a full and healthy life. Scion of Tabitha stands as a beacon of hope, ensuring that Tabitha’s compassion and generosity live on through every life we touch.
